▶Objectives
The main objective of CLENA was to raise climate change awareness and foster sustainable environmental behaviour among children with special needs. We aimed to improve their understanding of biodiversity, recycling, and natural resource conservation, while supporting teachers with practical training and international exchange of good practices. Specific goals included: (1) improving pupils’ critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills; (2) developing teachers’ competences in STEAM and inclusive environmental education; (3) promoting intercultural understanding and cooperation among schools in Slovenia, Serbia, and Turkiye; and (4) creating accessible educational outputs such as an easy-to-read e-book and online materials to ensure sustainability and dissemination.
