▶Objectives
The goal is to introduce digitalization into existing career guidance through the use of an escape room. Within the project, we aimed to create a digitalized and mobile Career Escape Room into the Future, thereby encouraging interest in various career opportunities and promoting social inclusion in an innovative and motivating way. The escape room is intended for career orientation and is designed as an inclusive and stimulating innovative learning environment, also suitable for people with lower possibilities and opportunities l. It supports the development of key competencies for the professions of today and the future.

Understanding trends, current challenges, and opportunities for career development, along with the simultaneous development of digital skills and future competencies, is crucial for effectively planning the education of both young people and adults. According to leading global experts, most of the professions in which young people will work in the future do not yet exist, and more than 40% of existing occupations will need to adapt over the next ten years. At the same time, it is also important to understand that certain professions are slowly disappearing due to technological advancement. All of this requires a more tailored approach in the field of career guidance. Career advisors or guidance professionals (especially in schools) often struggle to keep up with developments in technology and the fast-paced changes due to their heavy workloads. However, they are aware that staying up to date is essential for providing high-quality career guidance. Young people and their parents must also be equipped with this knowledge and understanding. To raise awareness and strengthen the educational potential thru engaging gamification and interactivity, this is what the digitalized mobile career escape room 'into the future' is.
