▶Objectives
The main objectives of AgeinGreen project are to face climate change from intergenerational perspective, to increase awareness and knowledge about climate change among older people and empower them to participate and contribute to society by bringing small changes in their lives and actively participate in local communities. The aim is also to improve relations among older and younger generation by participating together in fight against climate change.
▶Activities
Numerous activities will be implemented, including development of the climate change training program, 15 workshops for intergenerational groups, development of climate change treasure hunt, 5 pilots of treasure hunt and 5 treasure hunts with intergenerational groups, 5 online social groups, development of climate change handbook, collection of personal stories and promises, 5 multiplier events, 1 online international conference, 5 transnational project meetings (3 face to face, 2 online).
▶Impact
1. Climate change handbook available in 5 project languages (PL, SI, CY, FR, SP) and English including all the major project results (climate change training program, treasure hunt, guidelines for sustainable lifestyle, collection of personal stories and promises etc.), 2. 10+ adult educators from 5 countries improved their competences for implementation of the intergenerational workshops about climate change, 3. 50 + participants increased awareness and knowledge about climate change.
