The Food Odyssey

FoOdyssey aims to innovate European agri-food VET schools by providing teachers with innovative didactic tools to teach food systems’ sustainability and its link to climate change. The final output will be a digital educational entertainment tool (i.e., an open access online escape room) co-created by VET teachers and food/climate experts, through which students - via the train-the trainer approach - will acquire knowledge about the nexus between them, food systems and the environment.

The project contains the following key activities: - Boosting VET Teachers’ knowledge about climate change and food systems sustainability through trainings and educational toolset - Organizing Inter-sectoral Fora with VET Teachers and Food/Climate experts for co-creating an online Escape Room - Innovating VET Schools by providing teachers with digital and engaging pedagogical tools

- 16 agri-food VET teachers from 4 countries trained about climate change and food systems sustainability and involved in the Escape the Room co-design process - 4 Fora (3 online,1 in person) for the co-design of the Escape Room - 9 relevant food stakeholders involved in the co-design - 1 Online Open-access Escape Room co-created with VET Teachers and food systems stakeholders available in 5 languages (ENG, ITA, SPA, SLO, SER) - 1 International Conference - 12 Multiplier Events (ES, SI, RS, IT)
