▶Objectives
The main objective was to enhance the professional competences of adult educators to better support single mothers through inclusive, digital, and psychological (cognitive) methods. We aimed to equip educators with innovative tools such as gamification, multi-sensory learning, and emotional awareness techniques. Additionally, we intended to foster transnational collaboration among partners and create educational content tailored to the unique challenges single mothers face. The project also sought to develop a sense of social responsibility among institutions by encouraging active participation in democratic life, inclusion, and common values. Key outputs such as a multilingual awareness guide, brochure, and a project website were designed to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term impact. Ultimately, the project aspired to build a supportive educational ecosystem that connects adult educators with vulnerable learners, promotes empowerment, and strengthens lifelong learning in line with EU priorities.
▶Activities
The project included five structured activities: three face-to-face (Sırıus, Rıgıl Kentaurus, Vega) and two online (Canopus and Arcturus). The Sırıus kick-off meeting in Greece clarified partner roles and timelines. Canopus focused on national research and the creation of a multilingual awareness guide and brochure. Rıgıl Kentaurus was held in Hanau, Germany, emphasizing gamified digital tools. Vega took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, highlighting psychological support strategies. Arcturus was conducted as a local LTT activity by each partner, involving cognitive and expressive methods like music, gamification, and relaxation. Additionally, extended dissemination activities including a high-level multiplier event in Ankara reached national stakeholders, such as the Governor’s Office and education authorities, amplifying the project’s visibility and long-term impact.
▶Impact
The project produced tangible outputs: a multilingual awareness guide on the socio-psychological challenges of single mothers, a digital brochure introducing project goals, and a dedicated project website hosting all materials. One of the most innovative features of the website is the “TechMoms Supportive Links” section, which curates more than 70 free or low-cost digital tools categorized under 14 life domains such as parenting, mental health, financial management, and career development. This toolkit empowers single mothers and adult educators with easy access to practical online resources that promote self-reliance, well-being, and personal development. Trainings improved adult educators’ skills in gamification, emotional support, and digital literacy. Outputs from online activities like CANOPUS (research-based content) and ARCTURUS (multisensory LTT sessions) reinforced practical capacity-building. The project was strongly positioned within Ankara’s education policy agenda, with support from the Governor’s Office, provincial/district directors, and municipalities. Its visibility was amplified through the official Instagram account and stakeholders’ social media platforms.
