▶Objectives
The project aims to develop the knowledge, skills and experiences of Adult Educators who can support the process of overcoming possible psychological problems in order to prevent post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) seen in individuals who have experienced or witnessed a series of events or conditions such as natural disasters (climate change, earthquakes), epidemics, wars, serious accidents, intimate partner violence and bullying. In order for adults to maintain their psychological resilience, it is important to increase their awareness of natural events such as disasters, epidemics, etc. that they may encounter. In this context, since the presence of adults who have experienced trauma in the educational environment can help them cope with psychological problems such as stress, anxiety and depression, the most basic quality desired to be gained with this project is to increase the capacity of adult education institutions to ensure the adaptation of all individuals who have experienced or are likely to experience trauma to social life.
