Objectives

With this project, our primary goal was to raise awareness of environmental consciousness, digital skills, and sustainable agriculture. We aimed to develop environmentally conscious individuals among students, teachers, and administrators of participating institutions, create digital educational materials, and share best practices through international collaboration. We sought to enhance students' and teachers' knowledge and skills in environmental awareness, encouraging greater participation in sustainable environmental practices. Additionally, we aimed to make environmental education more accessible by producing digital learning content and promoting the effective use of technological tools in education. By introducing sustainable agricultural practices, we intended to raise awareness of water conservation, organic farming, and the efficient use of natural resources. This project also aimed to strengthen international cooperation among partner institutions, share educational practices from different countries, and explore how digital education can be integrated with environmental awareness. Through these objectives, we sought to help students, teachers, and local communities become more environmentally conscious individuals.

Activities

As part of our project, we carried out various activities focused on environmental awareness, digital education, and sustainable agricultural practices. We first held an online kick-off meeting to define project responsibilities, timelines, and communication strategies. Then, we organized two transnational project meetings to assess progress and develop project outputs. The project included two Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activities. The first LTT took place in the Czech Republic, where teachers received training on creating digital educational content and integrating environmental education into digital platforms. The second LTT was held in Türkiye, where participants engaged in compost production, tea farming, and observing sustainable agricultural practices. Additionally, students participated in a "Clean Environment" art competition to express their environmental awareness creatively. As a key project output, we created an environmental awareness booklet to promote sustainable practices. Awareness campaigns and dissemination activities were also conducted, helping students, teachers, and local communities enhance their environmental consciousness and digital skills.

Impact

The concrete outputs of our project included the creation of an environmental awareness booklet, which serves as a guide for students, teachers, and local communities on sustainable environmental practices, climate change, water conservation, and eco-friendly habits. Another key outcome was the development of digital skills among teachers and students. Participants received training on creating digital educational materials and integrating environmental education into digital platforms, strengthening digital literacy and promoting modern teaching methods in partner institutions. Additionally, the project enhanced international collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering strong connections among partner institutions in the field of environmental education. Participants had the opportunity to experience sustainable farming practices, compost production, and tea farming, gaining hands-on knowledge of eco-friendly agricultural methods. As part of dissemination efforts, workshops, presentations, and online awareness campaigns were organized. As a result, the project not only contributed to raising environmental awareness and improving digital skills but also created a lasting commitment to sustainability.
