IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN BEAUTY SERVICES IN THE LIGHT OF EUROPE AND INCREASING THE EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS
▶Summary
Meeting the current needs in the sector and eliminating deficiencies in vocational education is an important need. The education system needs to be more suitable for the needs of the labor market. Our vocational education is progressing with the constantly changing and developing technology. Supporting the participants, especially in the areas of vocational skill development, digitalization and entrepreneurship, and responding to the skills needed constitute the main motivation of our project application. Therefore, in our project, we aimed to increase the vocational competencies of the students and provide skill development opportunities. Within the scope of the project, we provided various trainings, seminars and applied studies for the students to gain practical knowledge and skills about the sector. In this way, the students had the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and acquired the necessary vocational competencies to cope with the difficulties they may encounter in the business world.
▶Objectives
The biggest goal of vocational education is to train professionals who have national and international knowledge, skills and competencies that meet sector expectations. In this context, our project was to ensure that students complete their professional qualifications at the highest level at the end of their education life and become well-equipped, educated experts who are the first choice in the sector. Our project was designed to better prepare participants for the business world, equip them with sector-related knowledge and skills and thus create a more efficient workforce. The aim of our project is to develop students' professional and social skills to meet the needs of the Beauty Services sector, make them more competitive in the labor market and provide them with qualifications that are suitable for the demands of the business world. With our project, it was aimed to ensure that participants follow current developments in the sector, gain practical experience and have information about new technologies or applications..
