Objectives

In railway management and maintenance systems, there is an employment gap in this field due to its high costs and the need for specialized labor. There are no specific digital training materials created in this area. The training content to be obtained will be digital transformation preparation, and the trainings in this field will make great contributions to the control and maintenance of signaling systems, and will develop the practical training part of VET that should be supported digitally.

Activities

With our project, a digital education material group will be created that includes the subjects of rail systems signaling systems. A student tracking and evaluation system will be created by preparing a training simulation in the field of rail systems within the structure to be created, creating training scenarios to be used in these simulation trainings, and placing this entire system into an LMS supported training platform.

Impact

With the digital education contents to be created in the field of rail systems, the sustainability of vocational education in distance education models will be ensured, an interactive environment such as classroom experiments and applied projects will be created, success will be increased with individual monitoring thanks to the education platform, and a student-centered education process in distance vocational education will be provided. There will be a widespread impact in this area.
