The project "Values and Virtues in a Tech-Driven World" aimed to address the increasing influence of social media on teenagers' values and ethical understanding. We sought to investigate how digital platforms shaped pupils’ beliefs and their perceptions of right and wrong. Our objectives focused on promoting common values, fostering digital inclusion, and equipping pupils with the tools to act responsibly in online environments. Through a series of collaborative activities, workshops, and research, we addressed key areas such as media literacy, online safety, and ethical digital behavior. Specifically, we investigated how social media impacted teenagers’ values and beliefs, and how it influenced their moral and ethical perspectives. We developed and implemented initiatives to promote shared values, encouraged empathy and social cohesion, and provided targeted training to support pupils from diverse backgrounds. We educated pupils on digital safety and responsible online behavior, strengthened their critical thinking skills, and improved their ability to detect misinformation. Ultimately, we cultivated greater empathy and ethical awareness among young people, empowering them to become responsible digital citizens.
