Objectives

In this project we aim to support schools to offer inclusive education by providing to four pairs of teachers in four schools training and coaching to achieve effective forms of team teaching. The aim is to obtain more inclusive schools and classes. That way, we tackle problems such as diversity in the classroom and problem behaviour at school. And we try to reduce teachers' workload.

Activities

Four pairs of teachers will have a training of 12 half days by a coaching institute. Then each will get to work at school, intensively coached by an external expert. Through job shadowing and co-creation sessions, ideas will be exchanged to further improve team teaching practice. Finally, a Manual 'team teaching for inclusive education' will be written as well as a vademecum for organising job shadowings for interested schools.A project video will promote the project.

Impact

* The partners will make a presentation and write a TTIL Manual to share practical experiences with all those planning to start team teaching. * A project video will be made to make the project known to all interested parties (published on youtube). * The four partner schools will produce a vademecum with a roadmap to invite schools from the region and across the EU and introduce them to team teaching in job shadowing sessions, the TTIL Welcome Days.
