Objectives

The project aimed to foster greater inclusion, interest, and excellence in STEAM education, particularly among girls aged 10–14, by integrating arts and sports into traditional STEM subjects. Our primary objective was to create a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that would stimulate curiosity, build confidence, and enhance understanding of STEM concepts through creativity and movement. We sought to reduce the gender gap in STEM by developing interdisciplinary educational content and training tools that reflect real-life applications, appeal to diverse learning styles, and encourage active participation. Specifically, we aimed to: stimulate students’ interest in STEM by making it more relatable and enjoyable; support teachers with innovative methodologies and a training toolkit to enhance their teaching practices; pilot and refine the approach in classrooms to ensure its effectiveness and adaptability; promote gender equality and empower girls to explore STEM fields confidently; and strengthen collaboration between partner institutions to create a sustainable network for knowledge sharing and capacity building in inclusive education.
