▶Objectives
The project aims to create a youth placemaking Balkan movement to support local youth-led placemaking activities and encourage young people to be active citizens through the creation of places imagined and needed by them. The main goal seeks to promote youth active citizenship and engagement through integrating better the youth needs and youth voice in community placemaking projects.
▶Activities
The project involves cross-cutting activities on managing local partnerships, and specific activities on research to better understand the trends of youth engagement in communities and to create a tool to build civic participation skills in youth. A key component of the project is the youth-led placemaking interventions in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, and North Macedonia to teach practically the competences, and structured dialogues to integrate youth voice in decision-making.
