▶Objectives
The project aims to enhance awareness, support and understanding of high sensitivity, especially Highly Sensitive Children, in school settings and among students, pedagogical staff, parents and the wider community. By providing strategies for meeting the needs of HCSs, it aspires to create a more inclusive and empathetic educational environment, where sensitivity is recognized as a valuable trait rather than a hindrance, ultimately benefiting both HSCs and society as a whole.
▶Activities
WP1 Management involves content and financial management, evaluation, project meetings and the development of an Online kit. WP2 Methodology for Teachers concerns a survey, desk research, guide development for students and workshops for pedagogical staff. WP3 concerns a Comic Book for Children and Teenagers. WP4 Dissemination and Sustainability includes networking, dissemination and a final multiplier event. These activities aim to raise awareness and support for HCSs in school settings.
▶Impact
The aim of the project is to create a comic book for students at primary schools that will help highly sensitive children identify their unique strengths and challenges. The project will focus also on teachers and psychologists providing them with guides and workshops tailored towards the needs of HSCs.By promoting the project topic, we will help the wider community to understand that sensitivity is not weakness and HSPs should be respected and valued for their unique perspectives and abilities.
