The main objective of the project was to strengthen environmental education and sustainability in the adult education sector. We aimed to support educators by creating accessible educational materials such as guides and workshops focused on climate change and sustainable practices. Another key goal was to provide hands-on training that would equip educators with practical skills for implementing eco-friendly methods in their work. We also wanted to foster collaboration and networking among educators to promote the exchange of innovative teaching approaches. Finally, we set out to collect and share best practices from those already applying sustainable methods, with the goal of inspiring wider adoption and long-term impact.

During the project, we implemented a range of coordinated activities to achieve our goals. We started with a kick-off meeting to set the foundation for collaboration and project planning. Together, both partner organizations worked on the creation of a joint educational guide for educators, focusing on environmental education, sustainability, and climate action. In parallel, we collected and documented best practices from Poland and Germany, showcasing real-life examples of sustainable teaching. A 5-day training for educators was organized in Poland, providing practical skills and tools for implementing eco-friendly methods. To disseminate the results, we held three multiplier events—one in Poznań and two in Germany—where we shared the guide and best practices. Throughout the project, we also carried out capacity building and dissemination activities, including social media outreach, stakeholder engagement, and promotion of project results.

The project resulted in several concrete outputs and impactful results. The main output was a jointly developed educational guide for educators, focusing on environmental education, climate change, and sustainable practices. Additionally, we collected and published a total of eight best practice examples from Poland and Germany, highlighting real-life applications of eco-friendly methods in teaching. We organized a 3-day training course that equipped educators with practical skills to implement sustainability in their work. Two multiplier events were held in Poznań and Germany, reaching a broad audience and facilitating knowledge exchange. The project also achieved good dissemination results through social media, online platforms, and community outreach, raising awareness about the importance of green skills in adult education. Importantly, for both partner organizations, the project introduced new methodologies in environmental education, which we have successfully integrated into our daily work and continue to apply in our local activities.
