Objectives

We aim to empower youth workers and youth leaders from marginalized groups to enhance skills in non-formal methods, theater pedagogy, and participatory arts. By focusing on marginalized groups' identity narratives, we aspire to foster effective co-creation with diverse communities, integrate arts techniques within partner organizations, and design a specialized pedagogical toolkit. Ultimately, our goal is bridge theater pedagogy and non-formal educational NGOs, in the space of youth work.

Activities

We'll conduct modular training sessions on non-formal methods, theater pedagogy, and participatory arts over two TCs and one YE, and one Co-Creation mobility. In the following six pilot programs will be launched in partner countries, with youth and migrants co-creating theater performances. Collaborative workshops will tailor the integration of performance arts in partner frameworks. A pedagogical toolkit will be curated, tested, and disseminated, followed by interactive webinars for feedback.

Impact

We expect to empower 30 youth workers and diverse youth leaders, enhancing their skills in theater and non-formal pedagogy. Six local performances, co-created with marginalized groups, will showcase their narratives. Partner organizations will integrate participatory arts in their working realia. A refined pedagogical toolkit will be available to Youth Workers and involved organizations.
