Objectives

STRIVE successfully promoted and operationalized gender equality management in Greece, Austria, and Cyprus by enhancing the knowledge and skills of managers, HR staff, and employees. Throughout the project, we fostered a workplace culture of inclusion and respect by implementing targeted trainings for managers and dissemination activities. The project contributed to gender equality by providing equitable professional opportunities regardless of an individual's gender, ensuring that workplaces across the participating countries adopted more inclusive policies and practices.

Activities

Throughout the STRIVE project, we developed a practical Gender Inclusion Guidebook in 3 languages (English, Greek and German), which was piloted through a train-the-trainer program in Austria. We also built partnerships to share best practices and advocate for gender equality within the broader community. Following the successful pilot training, we conducted two additional training sessions in each of the three participating countries—Greece, Austria, and Cyprus. The project outcomes and the Gender Inclusion Guidebook were widely disseminated through various channels, ensuring broad accessibility and adoption by relevant stakeholders.

Impact

The project successfully created the Gender Inclusion Guide, providing organizations with a valuable tool to promote gender equality and implement inclusive policies. Through the Train-the-Trainer activity, we engaged organizations from each partner country, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to sustain gender-sensitive practices beyond the project's duration. The dissemination of project results through social media and EU platforms ensured a wide-reaching impact, raising awareness among diverse stakeholders. As a result, the project significantly enhanced understanding of gender inclusion issues and strengthened the capacity of organizations to adopt more inclusive workplace practices. Ultimately, STRIVE contributed to promoting gender equality in professional environments, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and equal opportunities across Greece, Austria, and Cyprus.
