▶Objectives
The main objective of the project is to strengthen representativeness in youth delegate programmes. This project thus aims to support youth engagement in global agendas and civic participation through the youth delegate context and reinforce the opportunities youth delegates have for channeling youth voices in decision-making processes.
▶Activities
The project will conduct research into different youth consultation models used in youth delegate programmes and test and evaluate selected consultation models, engaging young people of different backgrounds into civic participation through the youth delegate context. Additionally, the project will support youth delegates in delivering youth messages to national decision-makers and government officials, strengthening ties between youth delegates and decision-making processes.
▶Impact
Results of this project will include practical guidelines for youth delegate programmes to use in designing and organising national youth consultations. Expected outcomes of the project also include increased awareness of youth delegate programmes among young people and decision-makers as well as more opportunities for young people to engage with global agendas. Project partners will gain institutional memory and competences for sustaining more representative youth delegate programmes.
