The main objective we wanted to achieve by implementing this Erasmus project was to promote inclusion, diversity and civic participation through sport, in particular by drawing on the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We wanted to use sport as a powerful lever to combat the increasing sedentary lifestyle of young people and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. The project also aimed to offer our pupils, from disadvantaged backgrounds, a unique opportunity to open up to Europe, discover other cultures and develop essential social skills such as perseverance, tolerance, rigour and cohesion. Thanks to this partnership with European schools, we have been able to encourage intercultural exchanges and strengthen social ties, while helping to build a more inclusive society. With the Paris 2024 Games as our backdrop, we have sought to pass on shared values and strengthen young people's civic commitment, offering them a framework for education and social emancipation conducive to their personal and civic development.
