▶Objectives
French and Spanish Forestry VET Centres are experiencing difficulties in recruiting trainers with adequate technical and pedagogical experience and proficiencies. Call4Forest aims at addressing this observation by achieving two objectives: 1. Fostering the recruitment of key-skilled trainers in Forestry VET Centers 2. Improving the quality of VET curricula and courses to better prepare forestry workers to labour market needs, inclusion and diversity concerns, and growing environmental challenges
▶Activities
To achieve its objectives, Call4Forest will implement the following activities: -WP1: ensuring smooth project and partnership management, achievement of WPs 2&3, and broad results dissemination, -WP2: elaborating a comprehensive Forestry Training of Trainer Curriculum & Implementation Guide, together with associated training materials -WP3: building on WP2, elaborating and testing 4 training capsules focusing on key sectoral topics selected for their innovative and cross-cutting dimensions
▶Impact
Expected project outputs and deliverables are as follow: -A Curriculum & Implementation Guide including methods promoting inclusion, environmental awareness and digital transformation, together with related pedagogical materials -Four 3-days training capsules focusing on highly-relevant, innovative and cross-cutting topics -A spot advertising the Forestry Training of Trainers, to catch the interest of potential future instructors and eventually enroll them
