▶Objectives
By implementing project QAMDE, we aim to improve the quality level of the International Young Musician Competition 'Distant Chords' to become a member of EMCY, a EU network that works to strengthen youth music competitions in the EU, ensuring their criteria and promoting these competitions as well as young musicians and their education, at the EU level and to increase opportunities in vocational musical education of youth in Croatia and in their professional and personal European perspective.
▶Activities
In consultation with EMCY, we'll improve propositions of Daleki akordi in its 28th year of life, through a concert tour we will learn innovative models of exposing our students 'to work-based learning' and mobilizing young audiences in musical culture, we will initiate structural work on improvement of vocational music education in Croatia and at international conference with important EU stakeholders in that sector, we'll plan the continuation of this Project and its' activities sustainability.
▶Impact
The competition Daleki akordi will become the only EMCY member from Croatia and will have greater recognition at the EU level, new adopted models of work, cooperation and ideas for the continuation of our project, we will apply and develop in order to achieve a higher level of quality of vocational music education in Croatia through the internationalization of strategies and European cooperation, and open new opportunities for our pupils in their career and personal development as EU citizens.
