▶Objectives
The project wants to develop a learning path for bridging the talent gap in IT sector. Specific objectives are: (1) To develop training for project managers in IT sector that will give young women skills to understand developers’ language, be able to coordinate teams of developers and act as a bridge between developers and clients or end users. (2) To develop skills and knowledge of 80 young women with degrees in humanities and social sciences and prepare them for jobs in the IT sector.
▶Activities
We will implement: (1) Development of curriculum that is highly connected to the needs of employers in each country and in-line with the quality standards in non-formal education. (2) Development of educational materials for project managers in IT sector. (3) Training for trainers focused on delivering non-formal learning methods aligned with the needs of the target group. (4) Training for 80 young women that will open new career paths for them.
▶Impact
We expect to deliver: (1) Curriculum and educational materials designed and localised, covering 4 topics for skilling IT project managers (logic behind product development in IT sector, UX/IU design, Agile methods, and project management) (2) 16 trainers from partner organisations educated to deliver the education to target group. (3) 80 young women involved in the training, with 80% of them finishing it and 20% finding employment as IT project managers
