▶Objectives
Our main objective was to empower young parents in their roles through enhanced emotional awareness and parenting skills, using creative and evidence-based methods. We aimed to develop and disseminate user-friendly resources in multiple languages, train professionals using innovative approaches, and create inclusive, intergenerational learning spaces. We also sought to foster shared civic values and promote sustainable practices in parenting education. Ultimately, we aimed to strengthen the foundation of early childhood development and intergenerational solidarity across European communities.
▶Activities
We implemented a wide range of activities, including the development of two main multilingual publications: Compass for Parenting and the Resource Guide for Trainers. We held 16 workshops for parents and young people, and 7 for professionals across Hungary, Austria, and Greece. A three-day international training in Greece brought together 11 trainers for cross-cultural learning. We created 10 personal video testimonials and 15 book recommendations on parenting. All content was made freely available online. Regular project meetings, partner collaboration, and a strong dissemination strategy ensured smooth implementation and impact.
▶Impact
The project produced several key results: a 36-page Compass for Parenting guide and a 40-page Resource Guide for Trainers, both available in four languages. We developed workshop scenarios, case studies, and facilitated 23 local workshops reaching 155 participants. A successful international training helped practitioners apply new methods in their communities. Social media outreach engaged over 5000 people in 110000 times, and all resources remain freely accessible online. The project exceeded participation and training hour targets, strengthened professional networks, and laid the groundwork for continued collaboration and expansion.
