Objectives

In our project, we endeavour to create a unique and supportive group methodology that aims to share evidence-based information from the perinatal discipinary field, focusing on topics relevant during pregnancy and the early years of parenthood. Our target group is people living in the countryside. With the birth of the method we wish to address the problems so clearly visible between the knowledge-filled capital and the countryside: the lack of professionals and the divergence in approaches.

Activities

Thanks to the ongoing intellectual collaboration of professionals from many relevant disciplines, a unique perinatal methodology is being created in the project. Our professionals can share their knowledge and work experience with each other in workshops, thus learn and gain new information which they can implement in the new methodology with expert help available. The new method is presented to the local communities via community workshops, pilot groups, research and a documentary.

Impact

The new, strong professional cooperation creates a solution to end the disadvantages in the perinatal fields that people living in the countryside experience. Through the new methodology, mothers can access reliable, up-to date information and knowledge. A change of attitude emerges and grows from community seeds. Blooming professional collaborations, new endeavours and goals help this new educational methodology reach people living in the peripheral regions.
