▶Objectives
The project supports the professional development of history teachers in their efforts to provide reliable information to their students. The aim of the content development is to correct myths about our shared past, train teachers on the subject, create materials to be used as teaching tools and to develop analytical and critical skills by presenting different points of view by bringing together different sources, which will help students acquire and disseminate authentic historical knowledge.
▶Activities
On the topic of historical misconceptions: production and dissemination of 2 educational history teaching aids (magazines) on issues of the Slovak-Hungarian common past from different perspectives (bilingual, free of charge); 1000 free digital subscriptions to Napunk.sk; podcast series, content development of the tenyleg.com website (with professional articles by historians); conference for history teachers; and as a pilot project: history classes in Slovak and Hungarian schools, dissemination.
