▶Activities
In the Activity 1- We were trained to use various platforms to educate pupils about enviromental challenges and solutions. We discussed about all the potential benefits of using AI during school activities. In the Activity 2- Students grasped the concept of StoryMap and by incorporating multimedia elements, they learned to use this tool. They identified and mapped local environmental challenges and presented them. Moreover they used Webook to create virtual tours. In the Activity 3, we created digital Storyboards, students produced stories on Enviromental conservation on Padlet. Moreover they performed some role-plays dealing with advocacy and community engagement. In the Activity 4 students realized presentation on how material decompose in nature, and analyzed the envirimental impact of fast- decomposing waste. In the Activity 5, students focused on the vital role of preserving natural habitats, displaying presentation on “Biodiversiy and Digital Conservation”. In the Activity 6, students using graphic design software such as: Adobe Illustrator and Canva, created sustainable home design, considering environmental impact and functionality. In the Activity 7 participants used online tools to assess personal carbon footprints.
▶Impact
For each activity we produced concrete results, which were uploaded in the platform of results. In the Activity 1, we used slidesgo for creating presentations and Invideo AI to generate video related to some topics of our project. In the Activity 2, we realized virtual tours related places of their own country using Webook and mapped enviromental challenges using Storymap, Italian students, for istance realized a work about MUMA (museum of the Sea). In the Activity 3, students created Role-plays in order to represent Advocacy scenarios and possible solutions. Moreover they created stories on Environmental conservation using padlet. In the Activity 4 students realized presentations to show how materials decompose in nature. In the Activity 5 students realized videos related to enviromental sustainability and ecological balance, they performed in those videos, taking inspiration in the local landscape. In the Activity 6, students using graphic design software such as: Adobe Illustrator and Canva, created sustainable home design, considering environmental impact and functionality. In the Activity 7, students visited a zoo and realized presentations using the photos of the flora and fauna they took there.
