โ–ถObjectives

The WELLTEENS project aims to create free, accessible and user-friendly psychoeducational materials including videos and APP for teenagers with refugee background in Europe, now notably from Ukraine, addressing their trauma coping, emotions tracking, sense of belonging, peers support and well-being needs. The project aims at self-help, peer-support and examining the challenges of teens as GEN Z. It will also serve as material for organizations, NGOs and policy makers working with refugee policy.

โ–ถActivities

The project involves 6 partners from 6 countries and includes: identification of needs, challenges of teens as GEN Z in Europe creating peer-to-peer series of videos with the inclusion of the Ukrainian experience; development of free to use and user-friendly self-help APP for strengthening the well-being of refugee teenagers. The project actively includes oganizations and NGO working with refugees via piloting with teens and training for youth workers. Dissemination campaign execution.

โ–ถImpact

The WELLTEENS project expects to have following outcomes: series of videos with GEN Z (Ukrainian teens + teens from host countries) about their needs and challenges together with useful resources (WP2); free to use and accessible APP to promote well-being, trauma coping and self-help (WP3); piloting (WP4) to validate the results and ensure the sustainability of the project and strong dissemination (WP5). Ukrainian university participation is important in terms of precise targeting.
