Objectives

MiniEduAgri aims to promote environmental awareness and educate primary school students about the impact of agri-food activities on climate change. It also aims to increase knowledge about the European Green Deal and Farm to Fork strategies, measure pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors, promote STEM aspects of food production, and encourage healthy habits and food consumption. MiniEduAgri seeks to foster a sense of identity in rural and isolated schools and increase partners' competence.

Activities

MiniEduAgri includes 3 Transnational Project Meeting including internal workshops for reinforcing teachers and trainers competences in the promotion of pro-environmental change in primary school students. The Meeting will be held in Lamìa, Kekava, and Foggia Province and will have the complementary role to support and plan content creation in a cooperative manner, further reinforcing partners competences and quality of results.

Impact

MiniEduAgri includes four comics on promoting awareness of the European Green Deal, the Farm to Fork Strategy, the EU Rural Action Plan, and STEM aspects of food technology for primary school students. It also features four mini-games to reinforce critical thinking and sustainable food literacy and technology knowledge, a psychometrics test to evaluate the impact on pro-environmental behaviors, and two mini-courses for teachers on adopting a gamification approach to increase green awareness.
