BENETIKO provides concrete tools for successfull practices and strategies for language-inclusive childcare for every child. It builds on an increasing linguistic diversity in childcare and promotes high quality and accessibility of childcare in the Netherlands and Flanders. BENETIKO contributes to (social) inclusion and diversity in childcare in cities with characteristics of super-diversity, and to the professional development of childcare professionals.

Next to two working visits, BENETIKO includes knowledge-sharing, reflection and dessimination activities for staff from childcare organisations in Ghent and Amsterdam. A free toolkit will be compiled to support staff professionalisation and strengthen childcare organisations in working on multilingualism of children and staff. The toolkit will be shared among childcare professionals, trainers, policymakers and other interested parties through the networks of participants and Erasmus+.

Based on exchanges between childcare organisations in Ghent and Amsterdam, BENETIKO will create a free toolkit for daily use that supports staff and organisations in working from a positive vision on multilingualism of both children and staff. With two closing events, BENETIKO contributes to the debate on the content and organisation of language-inclusive childcare in the Netherlands and Flanders.
