Until now, an internship abroad or even an orientation internship abroad was mainly reserved for students in vocational education at the higher levels (3 and 4). With this project, we want to change that. The target group we are including in this project is very diverse. It concerns the entrance training, level 1, in which young people participate who usually have fewer chances in the labour market. They often have no high school diploma, are often migrants or refugees or have enormous learning
▶Activities
The aim consists of two parts: 1. level 1 students push their own limits through (two-day) excursions in the Euregio. Implemented by Gilde Opleidingen and the Berufskolleg Rijn-Maas Kempen. As part of the programme, materials are developed for students to use during the excursions. 2. Exchange of experiences between teachers from both schools with the aim of long-term cooperation.
