The project develops the activities of libraries addressing the important topic of promoting reading among adults in the context of growing secondary illiteracy and the need to develop key competencies. Four European public libraries want to look for non-trivial ways to reach the target group. The overarching goal of the project is to disseminate readership, raise its level, and thus educate wise, creative, engaged and responsible citizens who take an active part in the life of democracy.

The project will include 4 transnational project meetings, which will include the exchange of good practices, workshops, development of scenarios, debate, and promotion of local cultural heritage. In addition, a number of local activities were planned to implement the acquired knowledge and skills. To ensure high quality of project implementation, transparent project management rules will be implemented. The results of the project will be disseminated through a variety of channels.
