The main goal of the project was to promote active citizenship by disseminating the idea of ​​sports volunteering. A strong partnership has been established in the three schools. The implementation of the project made students aware that the acquired skills increased their chances of participating in the national and European labor market. This awareness confirmed their belief that participation in the project improved their social competences in the field of linguistic and interpersonal communication, teamwork, and responsibility for performed tasks. The stay abroad showed the students how important language competences are in interpersonal relationships both in and outside the work environment, which influenced their motivation to continue learning foreign languages. Learning about the cultural conditions of the host countries contributed to greater openness to people and the world. The choice of goals was correlated with the requirements specified in the core curriculum. This allowed students to better prepare for exams. Activities carried out as part of the project had a positive impact not only on students, but also on teachers and parents.
