Objectives

SMART SKILLS aims to strengthen digital literacy & the exchange of innovative practices across the EU’s Agro-sector. The initiative aligns with the pressing goals of combating climate change, meeting SDGs & promoting rural sustainability. Objectives include: • Addressing cultural & vocational barriers to digital adoption in agriculture • Evaluating & sharing best practices in digital technologies in the Agro-sector • Multiplying our results with regional stakeholders/rural developers directly

Activities

We will collaboratively develop tailored tools and supports to fill the skills and knowledge gap among VET educators and Rural Agro-SMEs/farmers that will equip and empower them, to recognise the connection between digital literacy & required climate action and how both TGs with knowledge & awareness, can develop and implement transferable skills (collaboration & problem-solving) and use innovative tools to address and improve sustainability challenges and become changemakers of and for Europe
