Objectives

In the midst of a refugee crisis, it is imperative that we learn to integrate them into our societies. The labour shortage in the construction industry provides an opportunity for the successful integration of refugees. Welcome Work aims to create resources & tools to help the integration of refugees into the construction industry labour market. We aim to find viable solutions to the challenges both groups face & help create welcome working environments for refugees.

Impact

600+ Refugees to use and download our Mobile Training Programme throughout the project lifespan, to avail of training and relevant information for entering the construction industry 200+ construction industry employers to use Starter Kit & Good Practices & Mobile Training Programme to gain knowledge on refugee integration into the workforce 200+ educators in VET & adult education, gaining knowledge on refugee integration training 100+ policymakers use/download results via share strategy
