We aim to empower young people and educators by equipping them with the skills and ethical understanding needed for the responsible use of AI. Through VALUES' Starter Kit, AI Skills Self-Assessment Platform, and Open Educational Resources, we intend to create an informed and engaged community. Our ultimate goal is to widen the reach of ethical AI education, improve job prospects in this sector, and foster active, ethical citizenship among young people.

We'll carry out a range of activities, starting with the creation of a Starter Kit for Ethical AI. We'll also develop an AI Skills Self-Assessment Platform and Open Educational Resources (OERs). These resources will be tested and improved through participatory evaluations involving young people and educators. In addition, we'll host workshops and online events to encourage active learning & discussions around ethical AI. All these activities aim to offer practical, hands-on learning experiences.

Heads of youth-serving organisations will gain access to effective, tested resources for teaching ethical AI, enhancing their educational strategies for modern tech challenges. Youth educators will be better equipped to instil ethical AI principles, thereby boosting their professional skills in this critical emerging field. Young people, including those with fewer opportunities, will acquire essential skills in ethical AI, improving both their societal engagement and future job prospects.
