Objectives

A digital platform on health literacy for young people is important because it provides an accessible and interactive way to ensure access, understanding, and use of health resources (e.g., BLS, mental health, person safety) to a young audience that is increasingly digitally connected. Easy access to information, Interactive interaction, Personalization, Support, and Disease prevention are some reasons why a digital health literacy platform for youth is important.

Activities

The project will be developed using five macro activities: Work Package (WP) WP 1 - Measuring the level of health literacy of young people; WP2 - Development of the learning methodology and pedagogical resources; WP3 - Platform production, instruments, and content; WP4 - Platform testing and evaluation; WP5 - Dissemination.

Impact

Using digital technologies to create a digital public infrastructure can help us create a society where all children are included and have agency, opportunity and their rights fulfilled, without discrimination (World Economic Forum). The accessibility of education content via a digital platform free for all users will complement and support teaching and learning that happens in school (UNICEF). Digital public infrastructures can enable access to protection and health services, an reduce poverty.
