▶Objectives
The MuSTell project produced several concrete outputs. We developed a comprehensive Teacher’s Guide highlighting the importance of singing and key musical concepts in early childhood education. A Digital Repository was created, featuring musical storytelling examples from different countries, along with a guide to help teachers develop their own stories. We also produced a step-by-step text and video guide on transforming musical storytelling into interactive videos or e-books. These materials are freely available on the project’s website and also on the Erasmus+ platform results, supporting teachers in integrating music and digital tools into their lessons https://mustell.eu/. The project also fostered international collaboration and innovation in curriculum development.
▶Activities
During the MuSTell project, we implemented a series of interconnected activities designed to enhance early childhood education through music storytelling. We began with project management and coordination to ensure effective communication and smooth implementation. We developed the “Sing Sing Music” Teacher’s Guide, focusing on the importance of singing and musical elements in storytelling. This was followed by the creation of a Digital Repository with multicultural musical storytelling videos and resources. Teachers also received training on how to develop their own stories. In the next phase, we produced a step-by-step guide on transforming musical stories into interactive videos or e-books, with instructional videos and digital tools. We also held multiplier events in each partner country to disseminate the results. Throughout the project, we promoted international collaboration, ensured translation of all materials into partner languages, and encouraged inclusive, technology-supported teaching practices aligned with 21st-century needs.
