Professional Development and Sustainability in Gastronomy through International Cooperation

'Stefan cel Mare Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt' Technological High School Vorona applied for this project with the main aim of improving the quality of vocational education offered to students in the field of gastronomy. The identified needs can be summarized as follows: - Developing professional skills and practicing communication in English: there is a clear need for students to improve their practical skills that will enable them to successfully integrate into the labor market. Improving communication skills in English is essential in tourism. Through the project the pupils have developed their language skills which will open up new professional perspectives. - Promoting healthy nutrition: The project helped to educate students on the importance of a healthy lifestyle - Facilitating social integration: The project aimed to reduce pupils' sense of social exclusion by creating an intercultural learning environment and developing communication and collaboration skills. - Increased school visibility: By participating in the project, the schools enhanced their reputation locally and internationally.

The main goal of the project for the 'Stefan cel Mare și Sfânt' Technological High School Vorona and its partners was to significantly improve the quality of vocational education offered to students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The specific objectives pursued were: - Broadening pupils' horizons: by exchanging experiences with pupils from other countries, the aim was to diminish the sense of inferiority of pupils from rural areas and to stimulate their curiosity towards other cultures and customs. - Developing professional skills: The project aimed to enrich students' knowledge and practical skills in the field of gastronomy through training in international kitchens. - Increasing the attractiveness of vocational education: By offering innovative and relevant learning experiences for the labor market, it was intended to increase students' interest in vocational studies. Essentially, the project aimed to transform the Technological High School 'Stephen the Great and Holy' Vorona, as well as the partner institutions, into a modern, future-oriented school, offering its students equal opportunities for personal and professional development.
