Objectives

The primary goal of this project was to enhance the marketing capabilities of libraries in Serbia and Romania, enabling them to better engage with their communities in the digital age. Through comprehensive research on current marketing strategies, we aimed to develop a tailored curriculum that directly addressed the libraries' unique needs. This curriculum focused on key areas such as social media management, copywriting, media planning, and graphic design. The project sought to establish a sustainable model by identifying expert lecturers who could continue supporting library staff beyond the program's duration. Additionally, we aimed to improve librarians' understanding of digital communication channels and the role of digital marketing in libraries through introductory training sessions led by selected experts. By fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration, the project created a network between participating organizations, promoting mutual support and continuous learning. This initiative was designed to enhance the capacity of libraries to adapt, preserve culture, and promote lifelong learning, ultimately benefiting communities in the long term.
