Utbildning av projektlotsar för bygg- och bogemenskaper i Norden

We wanted to achieve a closer Nordic cooperation, we wanted to deepen the knowledge within the organisations, we wanted to offer a training for co-building and co-housing that is otherwise absent in Scandinavia, we wanted to prepare for future training initiativs - and we wanted to have a group of (certified) co-building advisors ready for the co-building groups to hire. Trained and certified advisors are also important for the confidence for co-building groups within the municipalities, where their ability to handle large projects often is in doubt.

As we planned the project, we had a series of seminars, planning the project more in detail during the first half of 2024. We visited Baden-Württemberg to look at German examples in February. The marketing activities were most intense in May and June 2024. In parallell, and continuing after the summer, we engaged the lecturers and did all the practical preparations for 3 + 2 + 3 days of teaching from September 23rd to November 29th. We also had national activities in Denmark, Finland and Norway in October and November. After Christmas we started the evaluation of the course and the certification activities. In March 2025 we had our final conference, discussing the experiences from the project as well as the continued cooperation around training and education. We also put extra effort into distributing the result and the experiences of the project within and outside the EU platforms.

We have achieved 12 new, well trained advisors for co-building and co-housing projets. We have given 9 advisors (projektlotsar) a valuable certificate, greatly facilitating for municipalities and co-building groups to find competent advisors for complex projects with amateurs as clients. We have also deepened the collaboration between 5 associations in 4 Nordic countries, arranging this training together, at the same time learning a lot from each other and how tricky it is to handle different political and financial systems in this kind of training. We have also been planning continued training activities for different target groups throughout Scandinavia..
