Objectives

The ScrollOff project aims to train youth workers into how to recognise gendered-hate speech and disinformation spread through social media and affect the mentality of young people as well as into how to support young people victims of social media disinformation around gender and victims of social media gendered-hate speech. This way the partners aim to help young people develop critical thinking when dealing with harmful content and to provide support to the young victims of this content.

Activities

In order to address the project objectives the activities that will be implemented are: - Project Management - Youth Workers’ Reference KeyBook - ScrollOff portal - Youth Workers Lab - Dissemination and Policy Briefs

Impact

The results of the project will be the following: - The development of the Reference KeyBook - The development of the ScrollOff portal that will serve as a platform where the training materials for the youth workers, the support channel, polls and a safe space for discussions will be included - National Workshops and an International Lab and the development of the support groups - The development of the Policy Briefs, dissemination tools and strategy and the National Debate events
