▶Objectives
The project supports young people who want to contribute to the fight against climate change through active citizenship. The goal is that youth feel that can make their voices heard and influence policymakers, companies or their local communities to become more sustainable. To achieve this, partners will develop a publicly available online toolkit and workshop format for youth and youth workers. The outputs will be designed to be used also after the project end.
▶Activities
Partners share best practices on working with youth and youth workers around greenwashing, fast fashion and corporate accountability. Partners will also build capacity on how to reach youth outside the big cities, in rural and scarcely populated areas. Based on the learnings, partners will co-create an online toolkit and a workshop format with youth and youth workers. The outputs will be disseminated through partners’ websites, associated partners channels, events and online channels.
▶Impact
At least 2,000 youth workers have increased their capacity to discuss the project topics with youth. Partners have strengthened their European networks and increased their capacity to work transnationally. Partners have published a research report on the perspectives of youth in rural and scarcely populated areas on the project themes. As a result, partners, other actors in the youth sector and civil society organizations have learned to better include this group in their work.
