โ–ถObjectives

INE aims to make nature accessible as a resource for health promotion and informal education. Positive behavioural changes through nature experiences are combined with raising awareness of the connections between a healthy environment, health & quality of life. Through inclusive education and customised offers for people with intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and fewer opportunities, skills and competencies are developed that promote an environment-friendly, healthy lifestyle.

โ–ถActivities

The INE Curriculum trains caregivers and nature educators facilitating inclusive nature activities. Participative focus groups identify the needs and challenges of people with disabilities and fewer opportunities. INE promotes health and environmental awareness via INE E-Book and Inspiration Cards. INE fosters networking among relevant organisations and raises awareness through INE Guide and Regional Conferences. INE enhances opportunities to benefit from nature, promoting health and well-being.

โ–ถImpact

INE aims to empower people with disabilities to benefit from nature, promote their health and well-being and develop environmental and social competences. The INE Curriculum, INE E-Book, INE Guide and Inspirational Cards developed as results of the project will provide health-promoting nature experiences for people with disabilities, learning difficulties and fewer opportunities as well as for trainers and carers. INE promotes networking between different organisations and communities.
