Objectives

The development of a joint European blended or online master's program in the field of forestry economics and sustainability by 9 leading universities in the forestry and timber industry aims to train tomorrow's leaders with future-oriented content. By seeking accreditation in line with the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes, the partners will venture into new territory and strengthen future cooperation among universities in the relevant sector.

Activities

Collaborative development of a pan-European Master curriculum by nine universities in forestry and wood economics. Preparation and launch of the accreditation process according to the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes. Development of the necessary framework agreements for the successful joint launch of the master's program. Dissemination of the results to the relevant target groups

- SWOT analysis of current programs, - innovative MASTERS’s PROGRAM, involving external stakeholders that our future graduate meets the expectations of potential employers. - report on LOCAL REQUIREMENTS for accreditation, - documentation for EUROPEAN ACCREDITATION and local accreditation where needed, - application for accreditation in Austria - arrangements CONTRACTS between HEIs with clear roles and responsibilities, cost reporting system - project WEBSITE, written REPORTS, short articles
