โ–ถObjectives

The project aims to integrate immunization training into pharmacy technician curricula, enhance public health standards by training pharmacy technicians in vaccine administration, leveraging their accessibility to improve healthcare delivery across Europe. It seeks to innovate vocational education and training (VET), support digital transformation, and develop key competencies, addressing the healthcare workforce's responsiveness to public health challenges.

โ–ถActivities

Activities include the development of the Pharmacy Technician Immunization Curriculum and their implementation guidelines, and the implementation of this training through digital learning tools for remote and interactive learning, and fostering the development of key competencies through practical and theoretical training, through a Massive Open Online Course. In the end of the project we will share the results and mantaing the MOOC functioning beyond its formal conclusion.

Expected outcomes include an increased capacity for vaccine administration across Europe, the promotion of innovative and digital VET practices, enhanced digital competence among pharmacy technicians, and improved public health outcomes. The project anticipates a direct impact on vaccination rates, contributing to the resilience of healthcare systems against public health emergencies. In addition the project promote the innovation of VET and the response to the urgent market needs of vaccinators
