Objectives

Promote the establishment/expansion of quality, sustainable EU higher education (HE) pathways for refugees: 1.Strengthen sharing of best practice and expertise on EU HE pathways for refugees 2.Build interest to engage in HE pathways for refugees amongst higher education institutions (HEIs) and students 3.Build skills/capacities of HEI staff, faculty, and students to engage in HE pathways for refugees 4.Promote sustainable inclusion of HE pathways for refugees in national and EU policy frameworks

• Online Community of Practice (CoP). • Online best practice repository. • Pilot online communications campaign. • Outreach and engagement (HEIs and students). • Thematic best practice exchange (EU practitioners). • Pilot (thematic modular training package). • Refugee student participation and capacity-building. • National, transnational, EU, and global policy dialogues.

Impact

Results: • Sustainable Community of Practice. • Open access modular training package (MOOC and in-person). • Communications resource suite. • Action Guides to mobilise HEIs and students. • Student Circles for Refugees (6 campuses). • 8 national Refugee Student Advisors. • National roadmaps (4 Member States). Outcomes: • Strengthened HE pathway practice. • Expanded HE pathway skills base. • New partnerships support pathway upscaling. • Enhanced national and EU policy leadership and commitments.
