▶Objectives
The RISE UP project aims to enhance the role of nursery nurses on two levels: professionally, by reinforcing and enhancing skills in 3 areas (inclusion, ecology, framework), through training modules, as well as social enhancement, through positive promotion of the profession. The aim is to achieve greater recognition for this profession through approaches that are enriched by each partner.
▶Activities
The aim of the project is to share experiences and practices specific to the childcare profession, and to define the social and educational needs in terms of training. This analysis will enable the collective construction of training modules on three themes (inclusion, ecology, framework), covering the skills and gestures necessary for the proper exercise of the profession of nursery nurse. These modules will then be tested.
▶Impact
- Production of documents to present tools, practices, legal frameworks and experiences related to the profession of childcare worker and the care of young children. - Organisation of a European conference on the subject, bringing together a number of relevant players. - Creation and testing of thematic training modules (inclusion, ecology, framework), available online. - Raising the social profile of nursery nurses through campaigns to promote the profession.
