▶Objectives
The project "Inclusive Education: Nurturing and Accepting Differences" aims to foster inclusive education, enhance teacher competences and raise awareness about inclusive education in the educational and local communities. Through these objectives, the project promotes the value of inclusion and the possibility of creating safe and welcoming learning environments that respond to and address the needs of everyone!
▶Activities
After the need assessment, a teacher training course in inclusive education will take place. The methodologies in the course will then become object of the piloting phase, this phase will be closely followed by the learners active involvement in the production of video material about the project's process and results. The video material produced will then converge in a digital event hosted by one of the partners as well as in the dissemination phase which is the last activity of the project!
▶Impact
We expect our project to have a long lasting impact on the learners acceptance of diversity and on the teachers' knowledge and skill set in adopting new methods aimed at fostering inclusion in their schools and at better taking into account and responding to the needs of every learner. Lastly our project aims at raising awareness about the importance of inclusive methodologies both in the local communities and in the European educational community!
