We Are Streetwise aims to empower youth at risk of criminal involvement by fostering self-esteem, resilience, identity, purpose, social skills, self-regulation, and mental well-being. It targets youth and young adults in Utrecht, Antwerp, and Marseille, engaging 360 participants through a 5-step model utilizing anthropological strategies. The project envisions long-term benefits of reduced criminality, improved societal integration, and the development of continued impact.

We Are Streetwise implements activities aimed at empowering youth at risk of criminal involvement. These include co-creation and implementation of training programs for youth and young adults in Utrecht, Antwerp, and Marseille, focusing on self-esteem, resilience, and social skills. A peer trainers program will be rolled out to ensure sustainable impact. The project will also feature digital introductions for stakeholders complemented by policy dialogue to influence broader systemic change.

The consortium aims to develop, analyze, pilot, and disseminate a comprehensive program for youth and trainers, engaging in policy dialogue beyond the project's scope. Expected results include a circular business model for each city, fostering sustainability. Outputs encompass communication strategies, training programs for different age groups, a podcast series aiming for widespread reach, and an online educational platform.
