Objectives

CARE aims to: • O1: Promote safe and inclusive management practices in Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Greece through creating a practical Guidebook for diabetic management inclusion. • O2: Enhance the knowledge and skills of managers, HR staff, and employees. • O3: Increase awareness about diabetes among employers and employees. • O4: Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to improve working conditions and combat stigma associated with diabetes in the workplace.

Activities

The activities of CARE to identify the need of diabetic individuals on workplace, provide targeted guidance to enterprises and managers & create inclusive workplaces are: 1. Workplace Challenges Exploration through real life examples of SME employers & focus groups with patients 2. Guidelines for HR & managers of SMEs by the creation of CARE Guidebook 3. Round tables & discussions with HR & managers of SMEs 4. Awareness campaign 5. Final Event on World's Diabetes Day (14 of November)

Impact

The main results of CARE will be: 1. Research reports (from interviews with SMEs employers & focus groups with patients) 2. Mapping of stakeholders which could potentially become multiplier agents of the project results by using them in their daily work. 3. Presentation with questions & guidelines from round - tables 4. Policy recommendation Paper after the Round table discussions 5. The development of CARE Guidebook for enterprises
